The UK Universities offer a wide range of course at the following levels:
Foundation Course
Students with Intermediate qualifications need to attend a foundation year, before starting honors degree programme courses, students need to have undertaken minimum of 60% grades at Intermediate (FA/FSc)
The foundation year is designed to complete the thirteenth academic year by the students who have previously attained twelve year of education by completing high school or intermediate education. It is equivalent to the final year of A level as an entry into the UK Universities.
Successful completion of Foundation year is considered for entry into the undergraduate studies in UK.
The Foundation year is offered by Manchester Metropolitan University, INTO Manchester, INTO Exeter, INTO New Castle, INTO University of East Anglia, INTO Scotland, University of Bolton, University of West Scotland, King's College, SOAS, Queen Mary, University of London and Study Group International Foundation College.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or intermediate (12 years) result with 60-65 aggregate
- IELTS result of 6.0 or TOEFL result of 550 minimum
- Proof of funding for studies in UK.
International year one
The course is designed as a pathway entry to the first year of the degree.
Entry Qualifications is
- High School Diploma or Intermediate with 60-65% marks.
- IELTS 5.5 Or TDEFL 500 minimum.
Undergraduate
The universities offer a wide selection of course choices at undergraduate level in UK.
The degrees conferred are Bachelors in Arts and Bachelors in Science. Successful completion of the course entitles the student to progress on the Post-graduate courses in UK.
Requirements:
- A' Levels with three major subjects passed. Each course will specify its own grade requirement.
- C grade in English and Mathematics at O levels (Most courses require these grades)
- Two years Bachelors degree from any UGC recognized Pakistani University with an aggregate of 65% in final year.
- IELTS result of 6.0 or TOEFL result of 550 minimum
- Course Selection in line with previous academic studies
- Funding proof: ability to pay three years tuition fee's in UK
Pre-Masters Programme / Post Graduate Diploma
Study Group and INTO offer a one year Pre-Masters Diploma programme that bridges the undergraduate study to the Masters degree courses.
Requirements:
- 3 years Honours degree from a recognized Institution
- Overall percentage of 60% in the Bachelors degree
- IELTS score of 6.0 as a minimum score
- 2 reference letters and all academic transcripts and certificates
Post Graduate Degree
The universities offer a wide variety of career choices in Post Graduate education and specialization in research.
Taught Masters Degree
These include the MA, MSc, Med, LLM and MEnt. They are taught programmes with a dissertation or project and usually last one-year full time or two years part time.
Research Masters
M Phil / PhD
/ Fellowships
Researched based academic programme of postgraduate studies range from one year to three year. Masters of Research, M Phil, Masters in Educational Research, Doctoral Degrees Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctor of Engineering (EngD) are also offered.
Requirements
The requirements for post graduation will vary in each course and according to the department specifications , however the students must have completed the following:
- Overall percentage of 65% in a four year Bachelor degree from a recognized institution or
- Two year Masters degree from a recognized institution or
- Three year Bachelors from UK Institution or
- Four year Bachelor degree from US/Canadian institution
- IELTS result of 6.5 or TOEFL result of 560 minium (Maybe higher for some courses)
- Course selection in line with previous academic studies
- Funding Proof: ability to pay tuition fees in UK or
- Scholarship or sponsorship
- 2 Reference letters from educationist or professionals
- C.V.
In addition to the above some courses may require:
